Nice demo brother! Love me some blue tape!
By the way. My uncle’s name is Tom. Not Bob.

Captain K, I’m up to speed now. You left out when you cut your miters. No problem though. Another good video with more good tips. I knew Marc would like your use of blue tape. My wife thinks I’m getting ready for a big paint project since I just bought 10 rolls of it home.

Hey K — Enjoyed the video. Been thinking of getting a scribing tool but I haven’t had a lot of luck finding them on the web. Got any suggestions where to get a good one?

Jim-
I know that veritas makes a decent marking gauge. But like I said in the video I love my Glen Drake marking gauge. you can get them through Lie Nielsen’s website. There not cheap, but the are sweet.

Hey, little late to bust your chops about Uncle Bob and the Miter business. I have enjoyed the video installments you have been putting up. Great stuff with a healthy dose of real world application. One suggestion, if you are going to plug manufacturers a link to a vendor or manufacturers site is always appreciated. It also lets the vendor know where the traffic is coming from ;-)

Great video. I would be curious to see you cut the miters. I have made a lot of boxes and I still have trouble getting the corners right. My TS may not be tuned well enough or my miter gauge could be bad. I’m thinking about making a shooting board for fine tuning after the powered cut. What do you do?
