OK Kaleo,
Sign me up! I’m glad I caught this, work is gonna be taking all my time between now and the end of next weekend. It should be really cool. Every year we host an Alternative Energy Expo and Electrathon car race. With the “green” attitude that has exploded this year, it should be an awesome turn out!

Great show! So far I’ve been lucky enough not to have done any significant work to my jointer, but the blades seem to be getting a little dull and may need sharpening.

Kaleo,
I was going to write you before about the table saw router combo…now would be as good a time as any.
I have the combination, with the Incra fence setup, and I love it. But I certainly would have them set up separately if I had the space, and I did woodwork as a professional…time isn’t money for me…at least not with woodworking. But I did get the Woodpecker router lift for my table, with a Porter Cable router, and can’t say enough good things about it.
Also…I find that I am unable to start my workday without checking to see if you, Mark, Matt, or LumberJocks have anything new on your sites…I really need to get out more…

Kaleo,
I look forward to seeing more of your creations once your shop it complete. The planer and jointer tips are great! My jointer is just waiting for me to tune it up again, and this info gives me a good head start. But I think my biggest problem is vibration coming from somewhere…. more investigation needed.
Thanks for the site, keep up the good work.

I don’t have a jointer yet but I still need to learn as much as I can. Sounds like this video would be a great way to do just that.

Hey Kaleo, when a manufacturer sends you that new jointer, I can drive down from Oakton, VA and pick up your old one so you can make room for the new one. :-)
