I couldn’t agree with you more. you hit it right on the nose. I was trained in a school and worked in shops that frowned on hand tools, but understanding hand tools always have been a benefit to me with power tools. and I have turned to hand tools to get little tricky jobs done that got others hung up, because they couldn’t get it done with a power tool. now that I do woodworking as a hobby I have been using more handtools a learning still, and really enjoying it.

If you’ve been to my site lately, you can see I need help! How ’bout a tutorial on how you cut your dovetails. Don’t get me wrong, I know whatever technique I end up going with, it’s still boils down to a lot of practice.
